Segment

Mining

Toromocho is one of the largest mining projects developed over the last decades in Peru. Lying at over 4,000 meters above sea level, in the Andean mountain range, the logistical and safety issues presented a major challenge given the need to perform tasks at high altitudes in extreme weather conditions and in an area where access is limited.

The initial scope of the contract was extended during the execution of the work. The customer recognized Techint E&C as a strategic partner following its successful compliance with deadlines and safety standards.
