Segment

Energy

Techint Engineering & Construction developed the Pesquería power plant to supply energy to the Tenaris and Ternium industrial plants in Mexico. The combined cycle plant has a generation capacity of 900 MW and a configuration of one steam and three gas turbines.

In order to minimize the environmental impact of the works and the project as a whole, a permanent monitoring program was set up to recover and relocate over 12,000 specimens of native flora and fauna.

Location

Situated next to the Ternium Industrial Center, the Pesquería Power Plant is one of the leading projects driving the municipality’s initiative to create a productive development pole in the region, which is well served by road infrastructure and other key services for the industry.
