The contract signed between Techint E&C and Ternium included the civil works phase, which began in September 2018, and continued with the electromechanical phase in May 2019.

On May 15, 2021, the first two rolls came off the line at the mill. The second phase envisages increasing capacity at the hot rolling mill to reach output levels of 4.8 million tons a year.

This new infrastructure will enable the manufacture of sophisticated products to supply the industrial sector.
