Throughout the process, three priorities were respected: operator well-being, tunnel safety and the proper care of the water, soil and air. To reduce the impact of the works on some of the city’s most emblematic and highly populated areas, featuring commercial activity and heavy vehicular traffic, the tunnels and stations in several sections were entirely built using underground excavation systems which employed access ramps on less busy streets.
An infrastructure project used by hundreds of thousands of passengers a day.
The H Line of the Buenos Aires subway is the newest and most modern line in the city. It runs for 8.8 km from north to south between the Law Faculty and the Hospitals stations.

"Building the Santa Fe station was a major challenge as we had to dig under an existing tunnel. We were working at night, around the clock, to finish in time."
"Being at the worksite is immensely satisfying for me. These six years have taught me so much. I’ll never forget all the things I’ve learned."
