The company installed two gas recovery boilers, an extra gas turbogenerator, a steam turbogenerator, the water collection and treatment system and a cooling tower, and supplied the interconnection with the Ezeiza distribution node.

As this was a fast-track project with a high impact on the power supply, it was essential to plan every aspect in detail, coordinating resources and priorities to meet and anticipate completion deadlines. Another achievement notched up by the team was the way in which Techint and Siemens were able to integrate their design, procurement and construction activities. Ensuring smooth interaction between people from such diverse industrial cultures was a challenge both at the level of communications and in terms of work dynamics.
