Work to lay the pipeline required multiple road, railway, and waterway crossings, as well as horizontal drilling under the 850-meter-wide Colorado River. To support execution, three dedicated work sites were set up along the right-of-way, in Médanos, Río Colorado, and Bahía Blanca.
This project marks a permanent expansion of Oldelval’s transport capacity, ensuring it can keep pace with the rapid growth in production from the Neuquén Basin as well as from across Argentina.
Stretching across the heart of south-central Argentina, the pipeline runs through the provinces of Río Negro, La Pampa, and Buenos Aires.
