This is the provision of Operations & Maintenance services for the Generation Center which powers the entire oil extraction operation for the company’s customer Tecpetrol.

Techint Engineering & Construction has signed a new contract with Tecpetrol in the CPO 13 production block, inside the Pendare CPF, which lies in the municipality of Puerto Gaitán, in the Department of Meta, Colombia.

The project is expected to take 48 months and consists of providing the Generation Center with routine (preventive) maintenance services and predictive analysis activities. The Center comprises five 1.4 MW-generator units and associated auxiliary systems. The tasks envisaged also include operating the control room and fuel supply system.

The services provided by the company involve making recommendations to optimize the useful life of the machinery and equipment and managing its integrity, as well as proposals to improve efficiency, prevent breakdowns, and minimize any associated time loss.

This contract complements the existing O&M service contract at the Pendare CPF and its clusters, which Techint E&C has been developing since August 2021. "The new service contract underscores our customer’s confidence in the quality of our services and ratifies the commercial relationship we have with Tecpetrol, one of our target sector oil & gas companies. This also means that we can offer our employees greater continuity and strengthen our presence in Colombia," said Juan Manuel Carreño, O&M Services Manager at the Pendare field.
