+Diversity at Techint E&C: two years building a more inclusive culture

A journey through all the milestones in diversity and inclusion achieved by Techint Engineering & Construction through its +diversity program.
How do you transform an organizational culture into one that is more equitable and inclusive? Techint Engineering & Construction is making it happen through the +d program, an initiative that is now in its second year and continues to set the course for the company toward a more diverse and equitable organizational culture.
From values to action
What began as an institutional value has now translated into concrete initiatives implemented in projects, teams, and processes. Over the past two years, the +d program has promoted key actions that strengthen organizational culture by promoting diversity and inclusion.
Among the main milestones achieved are:
· The formalization of the Gender and People with Disabilities subcommittees.
· The launch of the first global Diversity and Inclusion survey.
· The participation of more than 280 women in the Women's Inclusion and Training Program, with more than 14,000 hours of training globally.
· The implementation of programs such as Maternity Mentoring and Leadership Accelerator – Women in Construction.
· Expansion of the Gender Subcommittee to include the dimension of Sexual Orientation.
Visible and sustainable changes
This transformation was also reflected in tangible improvements in the company's offices and projects:
· Enabling more than 30 breastfeeding rooms in different locations and projects.
· Incorporation of diverse clothing, including shirts designed especially for pregnant women.
Additionally, in February 2024, the Unconscious Bias and Introduction to Gender Training Plan was launched, with more than 100 workshops held globally, starting with the Management Committee.

The +d program is part of a comprehensive strategy by Techint E&C that recognizes the value of diversity as a driver of innovation, development, and sustainability. This vision reinforces the company's commitment to more equitable and representative management, understanding that progress in the sector must go hand in hand with these principles.
