Energy transition: Techint E&C at major global industry forums
Published 29.12.2025
During the second half of 2025, we consolidated our position as leaders in projects related to energy transition through active participation in industry meetings linked to decarbonization, low-carbon hydrogen, and alternative fuels.
Techint E&C played a prominent role in strategic regional and international events that set the global agenda for energy transition. These events provided opportunities to exchange knowledge, analyze technological trends, and strengthen ties with key players in the energy ecosystem, including technologists, project developers, and financial institutions.
The agenda included specialized forums on carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), low-emission hydrogen, e-fuels, biofuels, and sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), technologies considered central to advancing the decarbonization of energy-intensive industrial sectors.
Among the most relevant events were the CCUS Expo in Houston, World Hydrogen Week in Europe, Hyvolution in Chile and Paris, and the SAF Global Summit, where technological solutions, regulatory frameworks, and financing schemes necessary to scale projects to an industrial level were discussed, emphasizing that capture is not just a trend, but a necessity to ensure industrial competitiveness in a decarbonized world.
The company also actively participated in key events in the region, such as H2LAC in Brazil, Argentina Energy Week, the Chile Energy Transition Summit, and various technical forums organized by industry associations, universities, and specialized institutions, contributing its experience in the development and execution of complex energy infrastructure projects.
Techint E&C also participated as a speaker and panelist in technical and strategic forums in the region, contributing its expertise in the design of large-scale electrolysis plants and the execution of complex energy transition projects. In these spaces, the company discussed the main technological and operational challenges of the sector with leading global companies and shared its experience in projects such as DUPLICAR, GPNK, and VMOS, which are benchmarks in large-scale energy infrastructure development.
In addition, the company strengthened its ties with universities and research centers, sharing experiences and attracting talent specialized in energy transition. Team members gave talks at the UNLP, the UTN in Bahía Blanca and the UBA, providing a strategic overview of energy transition, innovation and sustainability at each stage of the projects.
Through this international agenda, Techint E&C reinforces its commitment to developing sustainable projects and its role as a strategic partner for clients seeking to move toward a more efficient and competitive energy matrix that is aligned with the challenges of the future. In this regard, Nahuel Micone, Energy Transition Manager, highlighted: “The team's participation in these events was key to strengthening strategic links, sharing our experience and positioning ourselves as leaders in energy transition, while continuing to build ties with universities and attracting the talent needed to face the future challenges of decarbonization.”
