VMOS: stories of those who make it possible
Published 28.8.2025
Behind the construction of the VMOS, there is a team that works with commitment, dedication and passion. Meet some of its key players!
Transporters, welders, blacksmiths, operators and other technical profiles are part of the construction of VMOS, the oil pipeline we are building at UT Techint SACDE that will connect the town of Allen with Punta Colorada, in the province of Río Negro, Argentina.
In our projects, each person plays a specific role, contributing their experience and knowledge in a collaborative work environment.
Fernanda Ávila decided to become a transporter three years ago and found her place on the job site. ‘The truth is that I enjoy it very much, with a lot of passion. I love working on the job site,’ she confesses.
Similarly, Gloria Collueque, a welder, says: ‘Being here is a dream come true for me. I have a team that supports and accepts me. This is my portable home, I work alongside colleagues who treat me with great respect.’
Meanwhile, José Solano Avelino, a blacksmith at the double joint plant, emphasises that he always tries to learn something new: ‘Over time, you get to know the machinery and learn new things. My colleagues are family.’
