The Logistics Center of Techint Engineering and Construction, located in Chile, has achieved the prestigious Certification granted by Mutual de Seguridad ChCC, in recognition of its firm commitment to the prevention of occupational accidents. This prize is the result of a collective effort during the last year.
The Mutual de Seguridad ChCC awarded the Gold Category Certification to the Logistics Center of Techint Engineering and Construction in recognition of the company's firm commitment to the prevention of accidents in the workplace.
The entity makes a classification in three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold, which reflect the degree of compliance with occupational safety standards. Achieving the Gold category implies having passed rigorous audits and demonstrating exemplary performance in occupational risk management and employee welfare.

The Logistics Center's Joint Health and Safety Committee (CPHS), made up of twelve representatives from different areas, from operators to administrative staff, plays a crucial role in making prevention the central focus of its operations. This committee has implemented a structured program that includes training, drills and detailed monitoring of all safety measures adopted.
Samuel Lutino, Project Logistics Leader, said: “Our objective goes beyond complying with legal requirements; we seek to establish a true safety culture.” Luisana González, Logistics Assistant, added that document management has improved significantly: “Now every action has support and evidence, which allows us to measure and continuously improve.”
This achievement is a source of pride for the team. Samuel emphasized: “Each of us contributed from planning to execution, and this is reflected in the results”. Luisana pointed out that working safely should be a natural part of our work routine.
William Ortiz, also a Logistics Assistant, stated that this certification gives the team a boost to face the new challenges in terms of occupational safety that lie ahead. He assured that taking care of oneself and one's colleagues goes beyond recognition; it is a fundamental principle.
The award obtained reinforces the importance of safety at the Logistics Center and motivates the team to continue advancing in this area. It also highlights the collaboration of everyone involved, as Samuel mentioned: “This achievement is everyone's. Each person who participates and contributes makes this success possible.”
With this certification, Techint E&C reaffirms its commitment to its personnel and demonstrates that continuous improvement is only viable on a solid foundation of safety and well-being.
